Sustainability and ESG Rating
For Health Italia, Sustainability is an activity concretely integrated into the corporate strategy to guide and combine business objectives with a Social, Environmental and Governance dimension. Health Italia works with growing commitment to modeling its range of services in the fields of Health, Prevention, Welfare and Healthcare in compliance with and within the values of Sustainable Development.
For this reason, the company has been publishing its Sustainability Report since 2019 and has decided to submit its commitments in the area of sustainability to the analysis of Cerved Rating Agency, a specialized and qualified company for issuing the ESG rating, in order to harmonize the corporate approach to sustainability and favor strategies that translate into cost reduction, more effective risk management, greater integration with social development, with positive effects on profits and greater guarantees for investors and all stakeholders.
For several years, our growth path has been increasingly significant because it is able to combine commercial development with corporate profitability and sustainability, fundamental values for the achievement of future objectives.
To ensure adequate oversight and monitoring of processes related to sustainability issues, Health Italia has adopted a sustainability governance model which provides for the establishment, by the Board of Directors, of an Ethics and Sustainability Committee and a Work Group, the EWG (Ethic Work Group), to support the activities identified annually in the Corporate Sustainability Plans.
Ethics and Sustainability Committee
The committee is led by highly qualified and highly experienced profiles who carry out proposal and consultative functions towards the CDA. It promotes the continuous integration of national and international best practices in Corporate Governance to encourage the creation of value in the medium-long term for shareholders and stakeholders.
Commitments and Activities of the Committee
Specifically, the Ethics and Sustainability Committee of Health Italia deals with:
- Monitoring and management actions on the alignment of the corporate governance system with the laws and regulations in force
- Board review activities, formulating proposals and plans for the Board of Directors in the areas of sustainability, health and quality
- Development of initiatives aimed at policies on business ethics, human rights, diversity, inclusion and respect for the working environment
- Analysis of related KPIs on policies for integrating environmental, social and governance issues into the business model

Environmental Impact Strategy
Among the worldwide objectives that have been defined for the protection of the environment, Health Italia is investing in the containment of energy consumption and to make its contribution to the fight against climate change. In addition to the global challenges identified in the United Nations Agenda 2030, the Company is renewing its equipment and conduct in the name of environmental protection with careful waste management, supporting the circularity of resources and encouraging the construction of a more livable.
Environmental protection is increasingly integrated into business choices and investment decisions, impacting supplier selection processes, the adjustment and reduction of energy consumption factors and the identification of operational solutions that focus on the awareness that there can be economic development if the protection of the territory is neglected.
To follow up on these new strategies, an Energy Manager has been appointed who, through a specific operating unit, is committed to identifying the factors on which to intervene to reduce consumption and optimize resources.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the HR, Welfare departments and with the representatives of the Promoter Networks, Health Italia organizes specific training sessions dedicated to the theme of Eco-sustainability and the promotion of a culture of individual responsibility and critical consumption.
Full Hybrid cars
The Health Italia Group has undertaken a series of initiatives which confirm its commitment to environmental sustainability and, with the aim of adopting new mobility solutions, is converting its fleet to 100% Full Hybrid Electric vehicles.
As of 2019, the fleet has been reduced from 40 to around 30 cars and progressively replaced with hybrid models. This initiative is due to Health Italia's desire to further reduce the environmental impact of its activities.
